mIoT - Captis Multi and Recharge

Designed for Madison IoT (mIoT) in my time at Formzoo Design

Developed as the third iteration of the Captis product range, designed for more inputs and more design variability for future improvement. I moved to another job, so was unable to see this through to large-scale manufacture, but the product is now almost to market!

Requirements were that the product be completely sealed, to IP68 and mountable in many more ways than the older design, hence the integrated mounting plate. Addition of an internal chassis made it much easier to assemble and helped to ensure that the electronics function well.
Clear prototype mouldings to check water sealing, so that any water inside is visible and can be easily traced to its source. If you need to open the moulding back up, you risk disturbing any water, perhaps making it appear as though it has leaked, or confusing the leak that you have.
Initial prototypes, using FDM printing to ensure that assembly will work as expected and that everything will fit.
