Nada es rosa - Project for college
The assignment was to choose a music album and redesign its packaging. I picked the album "Nada es rosa" (literally meaning "nothing is pink"), by the argentinian pop/rock band Panza.
I wanted the design to reflect the idea that things are not always what they seem, and that what might at first look appear all pink and innocent, can sometimes reveal something much darker beneath. In order to convey this, as you turn the pages of the booklet, it gets more desaturated, less pink and more bugs appear: all signs of the rotting and decay of what had once been pure and innocent.
I'm not sure that's what the actual album is about, but that's the interpretation on which I chose to base the design.
