Avia is a grotesque typeface inspired by the golden age of aviation. I wanted to make a typeface similar to the typography used to sign retro aircrafts as well as incorporating the dynamic shapes and lines of the aircrafts themselves.This typeface works best for titles and short sentences as a display font, but is also works as marking and way finding on architecture.
