Red Monkeys

Is a consulting firm of branding and strategic design formed by researchers, strategists, marketers, and designers. They help companies grow by answering their most complex business questions through viable and attractive solutions for people.

The challenge for this project was to create a re-brand that expresses Red Monkeys' values, personality, and objectives in a delightful functional way.

The solution was to generate a very strong visual system based on simple elements that could evoke a human and collaborative feeling.






The Process

Before starting to design, a thorough analysis of the value proposition and competitors was carried out to create a brand archetype that would allow us to have enough material to start designing a robust concept that would generate empathy with Red Monkeys' customers.​​​​​​​






The Logo

It was very important to keep the icon original design because of its value and history to the founder and team.

To harmonize the signature we chose a condensed font with a friendly and simple style and of course, indisputable legibility, keeping the emphasis on the word "monkeys" to preserve the dynamism.






The New Brand

One of the main pillars of Red Monkeys is the human aspect so, we sought to create a visual style with organic elements (scribbles) that bring personality and dynamism to a clean and simple composition created with legible typefaces of optimistic personality that reflect the straightforward and friendly voice of the brand.

The color palette contains a characteristic Red color that gives a friendly mood with a secondary blue color to balance the warm sensation and contribute to highlight elements through the communication, as well; dainty Pink and Gray tones bring harmony to the compositions on backgrounds.






Illustration Style

With a handwriting brush and color highlights the illustration style reflects teamwork, meticulous but fun showing scenes of collaboration and concepts related to strategy.

We created different levels of complexity starting from large illustrations with several elements to a very simple micro-illustration to be able to use them in different moments and places within the Red Monkeys communication, either on a website or as an auxiliary element in smaller spaces such as a mobile phone screen.






The Website

As well, we worked on a responsive website to show Red Monkeys’ services and projects.
This Website has as its main characteristic a clean visual design and very simple interactions that uses delightful interactions and subtle animations.​​​​​​​
