A simple outline of the »Theinhardt Grotesk« would be too easy – this type was published in 2009 by Swiss typographer and graphic designer François Rappo.
It strongly resembles the »Akzidenz Grotesk« of the »Berthold Type Foundry« but during research many more facts about this outstanding font came to light, that stretch back all the way to the beginning of the 19th century. The analysis contains a detailed overview of the individual glyphs of the font as well as interviews with graphic design professionals. Further many current examples of typographic works using the »Theinhardt Grotesk« are displayed in the book.
