Dynamic Wave of Atlantic Beach
The design concept is: The Dynamic Wave

Why Dynamic wave?
Wave: Because the site of intervention is located opposite the sea (the beach) boardwalk, and Atlantic Beach is the largest beach in Carolina, without forgetting that the economy of Florida in 1957 built a large part with the treatment of the water of Atlantic Beach.
Dynamic: For the design that we provide to reanimate Atlantic Beach border-walk with amusement
and happiness activities such as art, music, and leisure.

How?
The design of the Atlantic Beach with the dynamic wave concept starts from the urban scale (urban
layout and functions), passing to the architectural scale (pavilion, bathhouses cover, and the point
area), until the end of the furniture design. A dynamic wave of Atlantic Beach can reanimate the zone and have a positive impact on the economy and social interaction but also can make the place one of the best attractive zones in the area.

Border-walk: An elevated pedestrian route accessible to people with reduced mobility by ramps, It
contains shaded areas, passages animated by colored arches, and historical Markers. It is a real space for meeting and socializing.
Point area: It represents the gateway to the Atlantic Beach, it will be characterized by a dynamic
design with a plant and mineral layout, shaded areas, and a children's play area.
Pavilion: the principal place and the flow convergence point.
It is a multifunctional space that can be used as a stage concert, relaxation and gathering space for
families, and an event center (volleyball and races), thanks to the flexible design offered.
To ensure the multifunctionality of the pavilion, a wooden structure has been set up as a storage space for the technical equipment and materials used in the concerts, with a multitude of shaded spaces for relaxation and regrouping.
Historical Markers: Historical markers have been placed at the main points of the Board-walk, to
memorize and represent the rich history of Atlantic Beach to visitors.
Bathhouses: The design of the bathhouses follows the concept of the wave by the dynamic shape of the two blocks, each one containing five stills. On the outside, there are eight shower stations, with six drinking fountains and bottle filling stations. The space is surrounded by palm trees with two access: from the beach and the parking.

Without forgetting to:
-Respect the standards for the romp Security requirements (guardrails-fluidity of access).
-Lightweight cover for the pavilion and bathhouse and recommended heights dimensions.
-Elevation of the border walk and point area for functional reasons.
