Niekieno vaikai—No One’s Children—cares for children who are left alone at the hospitals. Usually, these are kids from socially vulnerable families. Volunteers of the organization spend 24/7 with these kids, essentially replacing their parents and wrapping them in warmth. To raise funds for the organization, we created a special comic book made from 1,440 pictures—the number of minutes in a day. In these pictures, nothing happens—just a hand of a clock moving by one minute. While going from page to page, you can imagine all the loneliness and despair that the child must go through while spending days without their parents or other relatives. The campaign, using TV commercials and posters, exceeded its goal by 30% and was awarded Most Responsible Campaign at the PR Lapes awards.
