It's Mid - Autumn Festival time 2022
Had yet another fun collaboration with TASIA films to help them create the Tiger year themed festival.

2022 started off well by drawing quite a bit of tigers (Year of the Tiger in the Chinese calendar).
Had a great collab. opportunity with my old mate from NYU Tish Asia, helping him to find some visual directions towards developing his new film production house in Hong Kong.
I was quite fortunate that my friend was very specific on what he had envisioned for his poster. A mix of mystery, old Hong Kong neon signage mood and a cool tiger. As the versions progressed the ideas became more solid and a story was finally tied into the scene.
Added a really subtle gif animation, conveying the dark alley way filled with a pinch of mystery to the viewer. The Chinese characters translates to "Happy New Year" (above the TASIA logo) and "incoming of great fortune" (Left hand side).
