Every year 275M people worldwide need long term physical therapy, according to the WHO data. However, there is only one therapist per 700 patients, while the maximum serviceable quantity is 300 as reported by WCPT.
SOLUTION
Raccoon is an AI-powered system for physical rehabilitation after injuries and neurological diseases that provides better outcomes for patients. Using Raccoon helps rehabilitologists to treat more patients and at the same time increase the revenue for rehab centers. Also, patients can continue exercises at home, while still receiving guidance from rehabilitologists who follow the process remotely.
Treatment is based on a list of classic rehabilitation exercises and includes 9 exercises for hand and arm rehabilitation. The rehabilitologist can choose from the most popular 20 tests for examination and obtain their screening tests results for each patient automatically.
It is scientifically proven that gamification increases patient motivation, so all existing video games that have been previously approved with therapists can be integrated.
