This was a project for my lens based media class. The brief was titled  Memories. 
With this project I aim to show, through the notion of memories, that twins are not all the same. 
    
Growing up with my twin sister , Tracey, most of my memories involve her in some way. As, being twins, we have had many of the same experiences growing up, attended the same events, encountered the same people and often shared the same friends, I was curious to discover if Tracey did in fact have much the same memories as I did.
My first step in this process was to ask Tracey what her first memory was. Surprisingly (or unsurprisingly), her first memory was the same as mine - kind of. 
Tracey recalls her first memory to be carrying a birthday cake to our Granddad on his ninety-second birthday. However, this was also my first memory.. but only one of us carried the cake! After discussing various childhood memories and looking through thousands of photos we discovered that our memories of the same events were actually quite different. 
Coincidentally, our younger sisters are also twins, so, I created a timeline of twin memories to determine if their memories of the same occasion differed at all.
The result, below,  is a story/timeline style booklet of our twin twin memories.
