UNIDENTIFIED is a external hard disk with a futuristic and geomatric design.
Its housing cover is made of stainless steel polished to high glossy, so it has the shape of a triangular pillar with mirror-like surfaces on all sides. This product has a very interesting design story that led to this spectial material and shape.
In the past, in 2020, a metal triangular pole was discovered in the middle of the desert in Utah, USA, and it became a topic of discussion in the United States. Officials discovered an unusual object while flying a helicopter into the wilderness's habitat for bighorn goats. And after they got off the helicopter, they looked for the object and found a metal triangular pole standing in the middle of the wasteland, and this new became known to the world.
Since then, curiosity about this pillar has been amplified in the United States, and there is an incident where the existence of the pillar spread quickly on social media and gathered a lot of attention. I started this project because I wanted to put the story of the triangular pillar containing this mysterious knowledge on an external hard disk.
