IMAGINARY DREAMLAND

IMAGINARY DREAMLAND

As a person who is interested in art and design, people always advise me to reach beyond my comfort zone, to challenge myself with big projects, to try new things, new styles. And I did. In the last few years, I have been working for many organizations as a graphic designer, but sometimes I can feel something is not going the right way. Sometimes I was tired and lost my interest in creating art, sometimes my art seemed unconnected to myself although people still loved it.

Then one day, one of my favorite artists posted on social media a note that I would never forget. “It is okay to revisit your comfort zone once in a while to recharge and remember why you started". To me, daring to travel back and forth the border sparks many inspiration. It is like a dreamy universe of my own where creativity flow. I embraced and accepted my interests, although it might be weird to some people, and brought them to my art and my life.
In the end, no matter how harsh life might be, it is okay to take a break in your own “kingdom", to immerse in your dream and pleasure. Then after recharging, now you are ready to continue writing your story in real life.
