I took pictures of dying flowers in my backyard and drew them coming back to life--the new buds are cut out and pasted on top of the dying and wilting flowers. The drawings are then remixed (reborn) in photoshop to create new work. My focus was on generating patterns and designs that could then be used to make something new. I plan on animating the patterns, using the patterns to create and embellish objects, and lastly, set up installations to see how they interact with each other.
