For this project, we were tasked with exploring letterform features and to create dynamic compositions using six different letters, from size different typefaces.
The typeface used in this composition is Rockwell. The thick slab serifs used in this font reminds me of something that is solid and strong, similar to a cast-iron skillet.
The typeface used in this composition is Garamond. This composition reminds me of broken glass.
The typeface used in this composition is Helvetica. The overall composition formed from this Neo-Grotesque style typeface looks like a top down view of a maze.
The typeface used in this composition is Futura. Inspired from the name Futura this composition reminds some mysterious figure from the future.
This composition uses the Bodoni typeface. The significant contrast between the thick and thin strokes remind me of something silly and/or young.
This composition uses the Platelet typeface. This not-so-geometric font allows for lots of diversity. This composition reminds me of a panther's tail.
