On the Wild Side - branding and packaging
This is the branding and packaging I designed for for Olivier Beaujeann's artisan food stall, On the Wild Side. The stall speicalises in unique patés, cured meats, dips and soups, all inspired by the environment, the sea and the foreshore.
The Logo
The concept is based on Olivier's attempt to capture the essence of the environment in his cooking, bottling it so to speak. The bottle seen in the logo is also a reference to how he hand forages all of the wild ingredients, and highlights how natural his products are. The bottle's contents change throughout the range of products making for an interesting logo that informs the customer exactly what they are purchasing whilst always keeping the logo recognisable to the brand.
Product Shots
Illustrated on the soup cup are the seasonal vegetables that are used in Olivier's specialty soups. The heat protector rotates around the cup to reveal the ingredients used in the soups. The idea is that the user gets to seek out the ingredients as Olivier does in the wild. The Spring, Summer, Autumn ad Winter vegetables are placed around the cup so as the die-cut may only land on one season at a time.
