Aegean Canvas is a new marine canvas small business that was in need of branding. The owner had chosen the name referencing the Aegean Sea for its suggestion of adventure, and its connection to his own studies in the Classics and Greek mythology. We found that most existing marine canvas brands focused on speedboat imagery, and we opted to explore concepts alluding instead to the notions of myth, history, and adventure to distinguish Aegean Canvas with a more whimsical approach. 

We ultimately landed on a primary logo paired with a complementary submark ideal for use as social media icons and as a maker's mark on the business's custom canvas products.
