Apparel 1: Fall 2013
This collection was inspired by 1950's, an iconic time period in fashion that still influences design today. I wanted my main focus to be on transforming those 1950's coats into a modern day sportswear dress.
I began this process by sketching idea's and draping muslin on the form. from there I cut out my pattern pieces and constructed in final dress in wool felt. I was surprised at how well the fabric turned out; I absolutely loved the finished product!
