Vikings of Valhalla
This logo and title was part of a semester long project I did for a Photoshop and Illustrator class. The idea behind the project was to create a theme park with logos, advertisements from brochures to interstate billboards, and other projects. Because of my passion for all things How to Train Your Dragon, my park was viking themed.
Rather a quick project overall, it was one that has stuck with me. This logo has subtle a nod to my love for Buzz Lightyear of Starfleet Command as well as a design I used for a viking shield on a How to Train Your Dragon themed Cake Decorating project I once did for 4-H. The arrow directions on a compass to represent the adventure style of the theme park with the center circle reminiscent of viking designs and colors.
Rather a quick project overall, it was one that has stuck with me. This art style of crisp, sharp lines with minimal colors is something that I have incorporated into my core design whenever I work. The logo and typography was design and placed in Adobe Illustrator while the background and effect was done in Adobe Photoshop.
