Bologna City Branding

The brief's main focuses were about "suggesting a random immersion, not a prearranged itinerary, and not even a priority choice"; about "a city that with its openness and diversity allows you to weave your own story, to make up your own pathway"; and about a city where "you can be a scout, gathering details until almost becoming pleasantly lost in your wanderings, with no set destination". 
 
The city is perceived differently from every person at every glance.
The brief was pretty insisting on the porticoes as well, the most characteristic shape throughout the city, so I decided to play with them as a graphic element. By randomly choosing a point on the shape's area and by making the shape itself spin around that point, you can obtain an uncountable amount of variations of the same logo. As uncountable as people passing by Bologna every day.
 
That's why Bologna is Everyday Different.
