ECHOES OF MEMORY
The Echoes of Memory Project is an artistic representation of how we revisit feelings and memories during our lifetime. They echo in our heads and the only ones capable of reflecting and resignifying are ourselves, in an environment of loneliness, where we build walls, empty spaces or spaces full of moments and in the end we end up in full solitude in the immensity of memories. I found myself revisiting very good places and moments that no longer belong to my present, and this can happen in a cycle of a day, an hour, any space and time.
The words I chose as fundamental pillars for the project are solitude, reflection and spatiality. In addition, I used Brutalist architecture, feelings and a bit of surealism as a reference. The pieces consist of environments created in 3D with post production in Photoshop.
In addition to the visual experience of the pieces, I created a playlist to complement the project, this link brings together many of the songs heard during the creative and constructive process of the project's pieces. I hope that just like they did with me, a journey inside me, can take you to another reality.
O Projeto Echoes of Memory é uma representação artística de como revisitamos sentimentos e memórias durante nossa vida. Elas ecoam em nossas cabeças e os únicos capazes de refletir e ressignificar somos nós mesmos, em um ambiente de solidão, onde construímos paredes, espaços vazios ou lotados de momentos e no final acabamos em plena solitude na imensidão das memorias. Eu me vi revisitando lugares e momentos muito bons mas que não pertenciam mais ao meu presente, e isso pode acontecer em um ciclo de um dia, uma hora, qualquer espaço e tempo.
As palavras que escolhi como pilares fundamentais para o projeto são solitude, reflexão e espacialidade. Além disso usei como referencia arquitetura Brutalista, sentimentos e um pouco de surrealismo. As peças consistem em ambientes criados em 3D com pós produção no Photoshop.
Além da experiência visual das peças criei uma playlist para complementar o projeto, neste link estão reunidas muitas das músicas ouvidas durante o processo criativo e construtivo das peças do projeto. Espero que assim como fizeram comigo, uma viagem dentro de mim, podem te levar para outra realidade.
