Muse
Muse is a new music and podcast streaming service. Going up against competitors such as Spotify and Youtube Music, they are in need of an identity that's bold and a fresh interface design for their app that's functional and, at the same time, aesthetically on-trend.
For this project, I selected a single primary color that will stand out in both dark and light backgrounds to be used on important elements such as buttons and tabs. I also used a modern sans serif typeface that is easily legible and comes with multiple weights to establish hierarchy. A minimalist icon set is also included into the design. The UI consists of multiple tabs and drop down menus for easy navigation without competing with other information for attention. The result is a sleek and modern layout and a design that provides a user-friendly experience.
