EVERYTHING PLANTS
These cute paper plants and miniatures are done using paper and all various kinds of materials like wire, jute threads, skewers, etc.I absolutely love making craft items and all of the below plants are made in last few months of lockdown.
I took the white tea cup from my glass utensil set and poured little sand in the cup. I used fevibond to stick the sand inside the bowl. I took thick white paper and cut out the minute leaves and painted them using acrylic paints. I cut thin aluminium wire into small pieces and attached the leaves to the wire pieces.It was quite difficult to handle the minute leaves but eventually I got a hang of it. Once all the leaves were attached to the wire I colored the wire stems in olive green color. Then I had to stick all the stems together to make the complete plant. I started sticking one stem at a time after bending the stems to make it look realistic. The only tough part for me was arranging and sticking all the stems into the cup without messing up.The miniature plant was ready in 4 hours but the glue was still wet. The plant becomes nice and strong in 6 hours and lastly I applied transparent nail polish to give the plant a shining effect.
This is another miniature plant made using paper,skewers and nail polish bottle cap. Paper is used to make leaves and stems of the plant and the pot is a nail polish bottle cap. The little plant stand if made using two skewers cut into 2 parts each. little wet sand is stuck inside the pot to make it look real and it also supports the stems.

I learned a lot in the process of making these plants and my craft skills improved.I am planning to frame the plant cards and after making few more like that i will keep it for a sale.
