Say Goodbye To Hollywood

I was prvilaged to recieve the asssignment of shooting the editorial images for the article covering the issues releated to the closing of the historic Hollywood Park in Ingelwood, CA. I spent several days walking the stables, viewing races and shooting portraits of people associated with the park.

Jay Cohen -  Bugle player, Has performed at Santa Anita,  Hollywood Park, and The Fairplex since 1987.  He has played the call to post more than 75,000.
Lisa Mitchell - worked at hollywood park for 30 years. Used to run horses for the lengeday Charlie Wittingham, this photo was taken outside of the old Charlie Wittingham stable. 
Horse Owner Billy Koch, grew up at the park and owned horses that raced there.  This photo was taken on the backstretch where owners often view their horses being ran.

Radio Personality Tim Conway Jr an avid racing fan, son of the great commedian Tim Conway, has been coming to the park since he was a child,  his father once co-owned a horse that raced at the park. 
Online wagering firm TVG broadcasts one of its final shows at Hollywood Park.
