From time to time I allow myself a little break from all the kimonos to paint the places I have been and  love. Most of my inspirartion comes from the Scottish Highlands where I holiday often. The weather lends itself to atmospheric scenes of vast spaces and isolation. Its a wonderful place - you should come some time. 

These paintings - small in scale - give me the chance to paint in a different way. All are oil on board or canvas.
