Using a new approach: rebranding, to connect the history and future of long-established cutlery shops. Sakai Ichimonji Mitsuhide In the center of Osaka Namba, there is one of Japan's leading shopping streets, "Doguyasujii", which means "Tool street" has a large number of cooking equipment. Among them, We were in charge of rebranding the cutlery shop "Sakai Ichimonji Mitsuhide", which is a store for nearly 70 years history. For the brand, which is supported by many professional users, we think that a design concept that emphasizes simplicity, authenticity, and robustness is suitable. And based on the symbol mark that has been used for a long time, We did some balance adjustments and adjusted the appearance of online posting or printing and stamping. Based on the new symbol mark, we were in charge of shooting direction and structural design of new fixing parts of the sheath, as well as sales promotion tools such as packages, wrapping paper, plastic bags, and stickers. An initiative that connects the history and future of long-established cutlery shops with a new design to create the next culture.

大阪難波の中心に、調理機器を多数そろえる日本有数の商店街「道具屋筋」があります。その中に70年近く店を構える刃物屋「堺一文字光秀(さかいいちもんじみつひで)」のリブランディングを担当しました。

多くのプロユーザーの支持がある同ブランドでは、シンプルかつ本物感、堅牢性を重視するデザインコンセプトが相応しいと考え、これまで長きにわたり使用されていたシンボルマークをベースに、バランスの調整、オンラインに載せたとき、また印刷や箔押しをしたときの見え方などを調整しました。その新しいシンボルマークをベースに、パッケージ、包装紙、ビニール袋、シールなどの販促ツールと共に、撮影のディレクション、鞘の新しい固定部品の構造デザインなどを担当しました。

次の文化を作るための新しいデザインで、老舗刃物屋の歴史と未来をつなぐ取り組み。
