Task 1 Brief (Editorial Illustration)
Your task is to produce an editorial illustration for Business Insider Australia. The editorial title: ‘Malcolm Gladwell's Fascinating Theory On Why You Should Be A Big Fish In A Little Pond’ by Alison Griswold. Your illustration must be thought provoking.
Apply the creative thinking technique: Reversing to the following theme: ‘Big fish in a small pond’. Draw one original sketch and five reversed sketches, then choose one to refine.

Task 2 Brief (Promotional Illustration)
Create an illustration to promote a series of short films called: Tales of the Unexpected. Your illustration content must be surprising, surreal or unusual.
Apply the creative thinking technique: Odd Juxtapositions to generate your compositions. Select six pairs of random words from the following list to sketch 6 juxtapositions: clock, shoe, glasses, cow, tower, astronaut, desert, armchair, road, guitar, cloud, pear, bicycle, paintbrush, wool yarn. Choose one composition to further refine.
