In 2018 I was given an assignment to recreate a art movement. I decided on the art nouveau movement because the very illustrative style of Alphonse Mucha was very inspiring and was something that aligned really well with my current skillset at the time.

Edit: I will try to find my original files to my very first attempt, that being said it wasn't really good. The colors I used did not work together really well and it was rather flat. What I wanted to improve in this version was more use of decorative details that Mucha is very fond of as well as making the colors more cohesive and warm to bring out the depth and different values that I illustrated in the sketch.

I do feel like looking at this piece now, I feel like I did the original sketch I've done justice and the comparison of the who images really shows my growth in 3 years.
