'Malam' (means night in Indonesian) is an illustrated poetry in collaboration with @calvinchandra (Creative Director of @cuatrodiacreative), and animated by the talented @aswoood. The whole illustrations are created traditionally on papers with gouache paints, then scanned and cleaned digitally on Photoshop.
The night holds secrets of the heart, and within its void burns the ember of sacred honesty. 'Malam' speaks about the feeling of intimacy Calvin feels about his conversations with friends and lovers, when trust was built ironically in the cover of silence and darkness.
