Row Music studio, by Dr. Rohana Weerasinghe, A legendary contributor to the Sri Lankan music industry, was in need of crafting the visual identity of their New Music Studio with a simple but modern and memorable aesthetic, which appeals to both the young and veteran communities of artists, alike.
One of the goals was to construct a clean and minimal wordmark, possibly with abstract or obvious instrument shapes infused into it. However, keeping it simple and unique was the key objective. We, at Esme successfully invented this memorable and meaningful combination mark that was built cleverly, incorporating a shape of a microphone and the piano keys into its main mark.
The studio was already rocking an amazing purple lighting theme combined with a grey atmosphere, hence we decided to incorporate the same colors into its visual identity, conveying a classy, calm but surrealistic vibe.
The stationery was kept simple and functional and the social media existence of this brand is expected to be crafted vibrantly, incorporating neon-lit imagery, themed gradients, and a minimalistic overall appeal. We at Esme, are delighted to hand this identity over to our very satisfied client for whom we are sincerely grateful for letting us go through this wonderful opportunity and experience.
