This project was painted to celebrate prosperity and hope. The colors were chosen to feel highly saturated and expensive, gold leaf is incorporated in the flowers that surround this dragon and gold adorns it's scales and finer details. Turquoise, crimson, and gold join in this harmonious dragon to create feelings of power, energy, wealth, and luck. Painted in the beginning of 2021 as an ode to a new year, with more hope and opportunity than the year before. Framed in a thick gold frame to accentuate the composition and create more stature for the artwork.
