Task 1

Short videos or films that impressed me :

'Yeat - trendy way' - Music Video
link :
https://youtu.be/xLqvIaxMIRw

I was extremely impressed this this music video because of the vibrant colours in the video and the location decision .
The colours in terms of the effects produced high impact to the video and is definitely an 'eye catcher' . The colours linked sonically and created a distinctive atmosphere from beginning to the end of the video. The effects had a sense of humour to it as well which created a vibe for the video and gave it a quirky feel to it .

The locations/setting was a great pick of choices & adhere'd to video greatly. They used just a few locations but utilised it correctly . The video with all these elements combined created a stylish , clean & interesting body of work .

Favourite music video directors

 'Cole Bennett':
Youthful , ethereal , original

'Lone wolf':

'dotcomnirvan' :
Vibrant , ingenious ,extraterrestrial

Tik Tok :

In task 1 , we were told to construct a Tik Tok video , to help practice using social media and film to create a promotional video . We were then put in teams and had to Devise some ideas together , that were interesting, humorous and attractive content to us and our audience

Here is what we came up with :
Task 2 :
Premiere Pro practice edits / footage

In one of our task , we were told to go away and film a short duration of clips to practice using premiere pro . I found this interesting, with it being my second time ever using premiere for film .

Unfortunately , I didn't film anything whiles I was away , so I fiddled with some clips I already had on my phone , chopped and stitched them and created a video for the purposes of using effects and audio to create an atmospheric video.

-This video was put together and inspired by eventful times during my life and was a good set of clips to practice premiere pro with .

Task 3 :

The interview - Green Screen

In my group, we decided to continue the task based of our detective series as it would be easier to work with .

We will be filming an interrogation scene within our group of four . We have assigned character , filming and director roles. We have a loose script but we will also freestyle the script on set to make the film organic and see what we can produce as a result.

Furthermore, we will be using the green screen to create our setting for the scene with some lighting styles (not figured yet , might freestyle on set). Ultimately, utilising the green screen is the priority in terms of creating the background /setting for the shoot as well as working on sound in a small space with a lot going on in our surroundings.

Promo video :

I will create a promotional video via TIK-TOK to promote my client (musician- Tems) and their music by using their song and collaborate it with some effective clips to create the the TIK-TOK.

Presentation:

Clickable reference videos if you actually want to watch :)
