Easily one of the best singer/songwriters in South Africa. I have always been moved by her writings, but the one that spoke to my like was Fetch Your Life, where she writes:

"We live for the weekend to numb out the damage
We pray away, pray away
Pray away the pain of not being in alignment, with our dreams"

I think that these words speak to me, and other people with similar experiences, because it really feels like sometimes we live our lives to get through the week only to rinse and repeat the process all over. I am reminded, however, that purpose is real and that there are greater reasons for things working out the way in which they do.
