The oldest world film festival was the first one to include immersive projects in its official competition program. Since 2017, every year the Venice VR program has shown the best interactive works from around the world on the Lido Island in Venice. Since last year, the Venice VR has been running online, as well as in a number of satellite venues in 14 cities around the world. Moscow is one of the cities where the Venice VR Expanded Satellite Programme is being showcased, along with Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Montreal and others.
