Yggdrasil is the giant cosmic ash tree of the Asa gods. The giant eagle Hräsvelg creates the winds from his wings. Mini deers graze in the tree crown. The squirrel Ratatosk jumps up and down the trunk with gossip between the enemies Nidhögg and Hräsvelg.
The animation is projected on a sculpture of Yggdrasil. See it at the exhibition The Viking World, Historiska museet, Stockholm, Sweden.
