This is a poster I created for the WSC Spirit Film Festival.

I chose a 1970s theme because I felt like "spirit" would fit with it perfectly. I took a pure 1970s color scheme and used it throughout the composition as well. I imagined a VHS cover, similar to the ones I had growing up, for the overall design which is why I included the finger hole in the lower right portion of the poster. The font choice, aside from the WSC title and logo, are all straight out of the 1970's. I think it's successful because it adheres to the theme of 1970's cinema.
