This is the bunker of the Arpad line
The bunker near the village of Verkhnya Grabivnytsya is one of the most preserving memorials of the Other Holy Spirit for the so-called "Line of Arpad".
The Arpad line is a series of defensive objects of 1939-1944, stretching for about 600 km along the main Carpathian ridge. The main goal is to protect the territories of Hungary from Soviet troops.
The bunker in Verkhnyaya Grabovnytsia was built during 1939-1944. According to historical sources, its length reached 1.5 km (today it is available about 800 m). The lowest point of the bunker exceeds a depth of 50 m. This building has 5 entrances, four of which are long-term defensive point
Today, the bunker is taken care of by local entrepreneurs, thanks to which the underground premises are being restored.
