Go Green: Save Our Planet
Poster Design, 2019
The project was to promote the 'Go Green' campaign which aimed at raising public awareness of environmental degradation by designing a poster. We needed to create the poster by using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Ideation
Throughout the poster, we can see the upper part of the background is the eyes of a fierce tiger; as well as, the lower part is the desert. The reasons for choosing the eyes of a ferocious tiger has they look intense and somewhat cold but very fierce with a never say die attitude. It reflects the habitat loss and overexploitation driven by human rapid population growth and unsustainable consumption patterns. Besides, the symbol of the desert represents challenges; since humans are in a bottleneck of overpopulation and wasteful consumption that could push half of the Earth's species to extinction in this century. Furthermore, the fire around the Earth means the surrounding environment is threatened. The slogan of the poster is red color because it is eye-catching to audiences and draws their attention.
