From the Himalaya to the Bay of Bengal

A journey through the Indian state of West Bengal, beginning in the tea plantations of the Himalayas and ending in the small fishing villages of the Bay of Bengal.

50mm lens transports one into the centre of the action enabling a close-up view of the subject. In a fraction of a second the connection between camera and subject is determined. This connection can lead to a fascinating unspoken dialogue between the photographer and his subject.

 

The connecting element, transcending cultural and linguistic differences is the subconscious desire of both sides to reveal part of your inner self.
