Atlas is a neck brace  integrated into a backpack and coupled to the FTGR helmet of Momo Design

the backpack is characterized by a shoulders system that ensures that the backpack is fitted to all kind of physique

into the back is expected a back protector

the neck brace is composed by 3 part: 

 

- fixed plaque: permanently coupled to the helmet

- mobile plaques: ensures the head movements and the stroke limits

- pantograph system: ensures the frontal head movement

limits stroke is ensured by a D3O plaque that is placed beetwin the 2 plaques. It has 2 funtions: stop the head movements and shock absorber.

the neck brace is coupled to the helmet and to the backpack. 

The neck brace is locked to the backpack through a cam

the neck brace is coupled to the helmet through the fixed plaque that is permanently locked to the helmet

the lock system is automatic. When the mobile plaque go into the fixed plaque, 2 pins push the hooks inside. Then, these, return to start position becouse they are pushed by a spring
