Making Urban Nature Bloom
Four years of partnering for nature-based solutions across Europe

This book shares stories, insights and cases from co-creative processes for nature-based solutions in six European cities. These processes took place as part of the EU-funded NATRUVATION project and were coordinated by ICLEI Europe (Local Governments for Sustainability).
We were asked to bring these stories to life, and we designed a unique book that represents the six European cities and their implementing partners. Focusing on the voices of the people who were involved in the project we came up with a personal style, full with illustrations, sketches and hand drawn maps. In this way we managed to move away from the usual, often dry report style offering an inspiring experience for the readers.
