CL Product Catalogue 2020–2021

In the context of redefining the image of the Cosmos Lac paint company, we begun a collaboration where the first outcome of the fresh image of the company was the Product Catalogue 2020-2021. The aim was to create the first of a series of catalogues in a format that would differentiate from the typical product catalogue of a company. We wanted to make a bold and fresh presentation, with a focus on Cosmos Lac products which are framed by intense and playful typography, as well as some characteristic colours that help separate the four different categories.

Each category has its own colour and a trademark number that has taken its form inspired by the logo of the company. In these categories, each spread is a subsection, showcasing a different line of products. Going through the spreads one will find that they consist of large pages that present the respective products in a big image, and one, or more, small internal pages that act as the information page of each subsection; meaning they include the description of each product as well as and the colour chart, if this exists.

The cover shows a large C that is complemented by a large L on the back-cover. Black and full, from one side to the other as a frame that encapsulates all the products of the company, so leafing through the pages, we start from C and reach L to complete the CL which is the logo of the company. In the background the 4 colours that have been selected for this publication as category dividers are presented; as an introduction to what is included in the catalogue, giving a dynamic and at the same time vibrant character.
