Netflix - PRIDE 2021


For the LGBTQI+ community, unfortunately, the world is full of problems,
including the one of not having role models to inspire them in movies and series.
If on the one hand the community asks for more, on the other hand some Netflix users
are saying that this “gay thing” is enough.

For Pride 2021, Netflix wanted to express full support to LGBTQI + community
by taking a very clear stand on it: we need more stories, we need more Pride.
We did it with the stories and the faces of the Netflix' characters​​​​​​​.​​​​​​​



On the Pride day, Netflix shared a video with all the most iconic LGBTQI+ scenes
of its shows, declaring the message also on all the social channels.




The main scope of the campaign was to spread this statement in every possible way,
so we did it also through special billboards around Rome and Milan.

The campaign had a remarkable reach
and many users shared Netflix's message with joy and enthusiasm.




1 day is the average surviving time for a rainbow in Rome and yes,
someone vandalize it in less than 24 hours.




BUT WE FIXED IT!
With a tweet Netflix let the internet know that the vandalized rainbow lives again. 
People were really happy about that, especially on Instagram
where many pick up the tweet.
