What is the effect of things that actually only appear individually or in fewer pieces? From what number of pieces are certain items pointless? Are there exceptions where it makes more sense? 

This is a topic that has interested me for a long time and, since I like to stage images and work with humor/irony in my images, is this study all about that. These are a few examples.
