These are 3 ad's using the same system, albeit with different showcase content. The idea is to evoke an accurate, yet mesmerizing depiction of what can be experienced in at this park during its night time light-show.

An emotional appeal is created using site-specific photograph's with awe-inspiring, beautiful, and loving imagery. Capturing a holiday, festive feeling surely elating anyone who views these advertisements.

Pertaining to the idea of 'advertisement design', I think our foremost concern addresses the content of what is advertised. Creating an Ad for a park has been difficult because the content needs to be brought out in such a way that it promotes the best expectations which the park has to offer. In order for that to happen, there was a need to capture the context of the Arboretums Winter Lights show outside of the content which is self-admitting. 

Considerations for this project have stemmed from a specific appeal to different demographics, mainly being people who want to enjoy an 'awesome', 'wonderful', winter-light show. There's a holiday festiveness that needs to be promoted, which is specific to the park. Capturing that experience is rather difficult. However, I believe I've managed to acquire photographs which speak multi-fold; the time sensitivity of the event, the arboretum as a park & destination, and the magic which one may experience walking through the site. 

I want to thank Allison Phaokanya for helping me with on-site photography as well as being a great classmate, and wonderful partner. Throughout the project analyzing professional advertisements, I've noticed how large an operation needs to be to create high-quality, captivating ads, and how dependent people generally are on being designers.
