Munken Agenda 2022

Design of the Munken Agenda 2022

Practical and Esthetically pleasing.
 For everyone's needs.

The Munken Agenda created by students, for the year 2022. Despite making this project visually pleasing, the main goal was to make the agenda as much practical as possible.  We created the layout that allows to write notes according to the days of the week, but also  allows the owner of the calendar to organize it according to his needs.

Each week has two spreads - the first is strictly for notes, while the second contains only Sunday and an illustration of one of the selected proverbs.

The agenda also serves as a template for the Munken papers - the folds are made of eight different types of paper, each signed at the bottom of the fold.

Every agenda is packed in an envelope with a pattern designed by us. Inside - a bookmark with selected fragments
of the illustrations.

Munken Agenda 2022 is illustrated by 12 artists from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In order to unify the project while respecting the distinct style of each illustrator, we decided to limit the colour palette to two pantones and classic black, in which the content of the calendar is printed.

Besides design and prepress of the agenda, we were also among the illustrators.

„The Academy of Fine Arts has a long history associated with illustrations. The school was an important centre of the Polish School of Illustration, which gained international acclaim. This trend was characterized by remarkable freedom of expression, a sense of humour and a variety of techniques. The history of the school and its proud tradition is what inspired the 12 students from Book Design Studio and Games and Comic Book Studio as they started the project.”
