A diary for an iconic home paints company. It was designed to celebrate a passion for colour by showcasing different artists, each of whom had been consumed by a particular colour throughout their lives.
Georgia O’Keeffe was picked for black, Andy Warhol for pink, Henri Matisse for red, Marc Chagall for blue, and Vincent van Gogh for yellow. Elements from each artist’s works were recreated in Photoshop, using a variety of textures and brushes. These were collaged to create new compositions that served as page breakers, dividing the book into five parts. Individual characters from their paintings were then scattered through the rest of the book.

Tearaway inserts, like a tangram puzzle and a wrapping paper, were also included in the diary. These were designed to describe seminal colour theories espoused by the likes of Josef Albers and Wassily Kandinsky.
