CHUN is one of the countries in a universe called Moira. It's located on the east side of the word, between Aevintr in the North and Trouvaille in the South. CHUN is a continent with eternal spring. Spring is known as the beginning of a new life, and living up to the meaning, CHUN is a place where life emerges. Their soil is fertile, their air is breezy. The country is represented by a Serpent Eagle, which is an endemic bird in CHUN and represents strength and glory.
The history behind CHUN's everlasting spring is inspired by a city in Yunnan province in China, called Kunming. Kunming City is recognized as the 'City of Eternal Spring' due to their cool weather and flowers that blooms throughout the year. The details and cultures in CHUN is heavily influenced by Asian culture, specifically China. It can be seen through the outfit, buildings, weapons, and so on.
LOTUS POND
The lotus pond is located at Yi. As the name suggest, the pond is filled with lotus that can glow in the dark. In addition to the lotus, the pond is inhabited by koi fishes which are known to bring luck and prosperity. The koi carries good positive chi and as this chi is shared with the surrounding lotus, it causes the lotus to be able to glow in darkness. The citizens of CHUN often come to visit the pond to feed the fishes to obtain good luck.
During the making of the key art, a total of 11 sketches were made as the alternatives.
