Roasted Chestnuts Station

University group project (2013)
Created by: Karaoglou Vanessa, Larozas Fragiskos
About:
The Roasted Chestnut Station is a complete solution for the on road sellers meeting all their needs.
Inspired by the neoclassical Greek buildings, the structure is defined by straight lines, geometrical forms and stability.

The use of wood surfaces is to attribute a traditional, warm character to the station, similar to the warm, nostalgic memories of the users' childhood memories of winter.

Τhe shade is appropriate for both shading and protecting the seller and the station from the bad weather.
The front face of the shade, coated with blackboard paint and the metal frame on the base of the station, can be used to indicate the quantities, prices and other comments from the seller.
The metal ember - pan can be removed in order to be easily cleaned, while the metal frame is suitable for the temporary placement of the already roasted chestnuts, to keep them warm until sold.
The station offers a multitude of storage spaces, big enough to store both tools, chestnuts and charcoal. It also includes a removable stool, for the seller to rest when needed.
