This video mashup consists of clips from several different YouTube videos. My task was to pick an audio track and edit / rearrange different video clips to the audio.
Once I picked the audio track for this video I listened to it several times without bringing in any extra video clips. The purpose of this was too listen for specific beats in the audio that made good edit points. After bringing the audio track into adobe premiere pro I marked out all the specific bates I wanted an edit on above the timeline. Now that I have a visual representation of where I want things to go it was time to bring in the video clips. Because I decided to edit for the audio track, it made it super easy to find a good start and end points within the video clips.
This project to me was super fun and enjoyable because I got to take some thing that already exists and make some thing completely new.
