Homely - A Toolkit rental app
Here I present you, the new project for this year's Designflows Contest. The theme was "a toolkit rental app" for all the DIY enthusiasts. I chose to create a fun and dynamic layout, with a bright and pop-like palette, so that the app could be eye-catching and easy to use for everyone. I managed to do it complying with the 48 hours work span given by the Contest's rules.
Homely is a useful, fun, and easy app. The rules established that the contestants had to create three layouts for different areas of the app: the "My Rentals" area, where the users can check out which tools they rented and the status of their rental; the "Toolkit Rental" area, a sort of Home where the user can find all the Toolkits and various tutorials to get crazy with DIY projects; the last area is the "How it Works" screen, that appears before the user pays for a toolkit rental. It contains the basic rules of the rentals, the fees to pay if the toolkit gets damaged or is lost, and some safety info.
